Turning Point Analytics (TPA) uses its proprietary Trend-Range strategy to provide subscribers with a technical and strategic overlay to their fundamental or macro process. Trend-Range determines whether a security is trending or rangebound and sets inflection points accordingly. Alerts are identified and evaluated regularly. If an alert meets all of the requirements, it becomes a high conviction buy or sell recommendation, which is sent to subscribers. Stocks that meet all of the hurdles usually resemble one of the 6 CHARTS. Each recommendation includes a target and a stop.

TPA’s Trend-Range Process:
1. analyzes over 10,000 securities every day
2. provides a signal for one of 6 high probability chart patterns (see the "6 Charts" page for explanation)
3. has provided profitable recommendations for over 10 years
4. has sent clients over 3600 recommendations or more than 340 recommendations per year
5. is used by some of the largest money managers in the world
6. Each recommendation:
> includes a target and a stop
> has at least a 3 to 1 ratio of target potential to stop potential
*Past performance is not a guarantee of future performance

What clients should expect from the TPA Reports
1. Comments & Charts - actionable recommendations when there is high conviction
2. World Snapshot - well-followed daily report outlining macro investment themes (Canaries in the Coalmine)
3. Trend-Range Report – U.S., EU, and Asia market reports are reviewed several times per week.
4. Real-Time Trend-Range Report – is available to be shared for clients with Bloomberg
5. Other Reports sent to subscribers on a regular basis - Benchmark Optimizer, Forgotten Stock Report, TPA Canaries in the Coalmine.
See the "The Reports" tab for a descriptions of each report.
IMPORTANT: It needs to be emphasized that Trend-Range is a process NOT a system. Regardless of the strength of the initial signal, other factors, including analysis of charts, must be performed before arriving at a high conviction trade.
TARGETS & STOPS
Each TPA recommendation includes a Target price and a Stop price. Target price is determined by the technical information and assumes a 2 to 6 month holdings period. The Stop price is the price at which investors should exit the position to prevent further losses.
TPA has been using Targets and Stops with its Trend-Range strategy for over 10 years with great success. The discipline of establishing a roadmap for each idea at the beginning and making those parameters the guideline keeps investors in winning trades and forces them to cut losses before they become too large.
Caveat: Each investor should also use their own risk tolerance, investment horizon, and information about the stock and the market to determine when to buy and sell.
